Day 10 of 28: What Things Make You Happy?

The things that make me happy are:

-Family time! I just enjoy being around others and when they consider themselves or consider me family, I feel a different kind of vibe and have much more fun than I would being around total strangers.

-Working out! When I’m moving and get a good sweat going it makes me feel more alive and accomplished. When I work out it helps me to relax and focus more on the important things going on in life.

-Writing! Wow, just letting it all out on paper helps me release the things that I necessarily would not say out loud. I have always noticed (in my opinion) that I have so much to say and make much more sense when I’m writing and it makes me feel great!

Day 9 of 28: If You Could Have Lunch W/ One Person Who Would It Be?!

Well well well. Truth is I would love to have lunch with a lot of people. However, at this very moment my heart and mind is focused on my mother-in-law. If I could orchestrate just One last lunch with her, her son, and myself I would do just that and it would be golden.

Mama ETOYCE carried so much joy no matter what the situation and taught me so much about being a mother just by the simple things she did or did not do.

So, if you weren’t sure before I’ll say it again. “If I could have lunch with one person it would be with my resting mother in love.”

Day 8 of 28: What Would You Say To A Younger Version Of Yourself?

I would say, “keep strong, it will get better. Close your eyes, dream big, and write it all down on paper. Make it plain don’t second-guess yourself, and remember it is always your time.”

I would elevate my younger self, helping her to believe that just because others don’t believe you doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

I would encourage her at all times, helping her to remember that she can do all things with Christ who strengthens her, and no matter what there will be better days!

‘Til we meet again, “stand up, move forward, and stay strong”

Day 7 of 28: What Is Your Most Epic Failure & How Have You Overcome It?

My most epic failure would be losing pound after pound just to gain it all back.

I have overcome this failure by pushing through and not giving up on my goals.

Although gaining weight can be extremely discouraging it has show me that no matter what it looks like, refocus and consistency is what’s going to prevail.

Day 6 of 28: What Has Been Your Greatest Success In Life So Far?

My greatest success is so far will be graduating college and becoming committed to (marrying) the greatest man I know.

These are my greatest successes so far because they are both things that have helped me grow so much in all areas of my life.

By graduating college, it has help me realize that I can do all things that I put my mind to and if I strive for perfection I will come very close to it, succeeding every time.

By getting married and becoming committed, it has help me grow into someone who is not self-centered, someone who is respectful, someone who cares about what happens to someone else, and so much more.

The successes is listed above have established stability and growth in my life which is why they are both equally as great.

Day 5 of 28: Do You Have An Embarrassing Story?!

My embarrassing stories always involve me waving when the other person was waving at someone else around me.

Now most would not classify that is embarrassing, but for me when I say hello to someone, I say it with passion. When I wave I put so much aggression in my wave you would think I was flying.

I do not embarrass easily but it’s just something about thinking someone is showing you some love by saying hello, when in reality they are waving at and speaking to someone else.

Day 4 of 28: What Is Your Favorite Childhood Memory?!

My favorite childhood memory is waking up every Sunday morning getting ready for church and waiting on my grandma to pick me up each and every time.

Each and every week my brother Chris and I would go to church and spend time with our friends, learn about God, and see the greatness of the Lord flow through my grandma as she sang in the choir.

Childhood memories are great and they show the legacy of those before us and the future of our legacy. However, if it is not the legacy that we desire for our future we also have the opportunity to change that and create our own. Childhood memories have made me the woman that I am today and will make my children the adults that they become.
