Day 17 Of 28: What Is Your Makeup Routine?

Well this will make for a pretty sure injury. My make up routine is nothing because, well, I don’t wear make up.

Day 16 Of 28: What Things Can’t You Live Without?

I am not trying to be one of those people who always gives a literal answer to questions that more than likely requires a list of things (which I will include anyway), but honestly I could more than likely live without anything that is material. However, to answer the question, I can’t live without God and it sometimes feels like I can’t live without:

-My Husband, Nick

-My Cell Phone

-Food (Junk Food)

-Pencil/ Paper, &

I’m sure there is so much more but in all honestly my phone is probably the main thing, aside from my husband, that I can go without because I do literally everything on it. I pay bills on it, call my family on it, get on Facebook (& all other social media sites), I order food with it, I take photos with it, and I’m typing this entry to my blog with it. When push comes to shove, I need my phone!!!

Day 15 of 28: What Is Your Idea Of A “Perfect” Day?

My idea of a perfect day?

This day would involve a nice massage, pedicure, eye brow waxing, bbq (that my husband cooked), and friend/family time!!!

Any day that involved any of the above things is an awesome day but if I can have them all in one day I believe that it would be golden and it would be as close to a perfect day as it could get.

Now here is an explanation as to why all of these things would make my day “perfect”:

-Massage… Well of course this would aid in making my day perfect because I would be relaxed, nothing would be able to bother me after I know that my entire body is relaxed from an (at least) one hour massage by the greatest massage therapist I know. Sorry, I can’t share my sources (but if you’re in Tulsa I’ve got you)!

-Pedicure… Ha! All I can say is we as women love to have our feet looking and feeling good, why not add a pedicure to aid and assist in the magic.

-Eye Brow Waxing… For me this makes me feel like I am the prettiest woman in the world. If when I look at my own face and see the magic after a waxing I know others will too.

-BBQ… Nick makes the best food known to man (in my opinion) and it would be just amazing to be able to receive a home cooked meal from him (which I normally always do). If I was told that I could have whatever I wanted for a day this is a meal that I would ask for and a meal that would satisfy me tremendously.

-Friends/Family…Friends and family help me to feel complete. I enjoy fellowship and intelligent conversation with others. Most of the friends and family we have already are parents and sometimes don’t have a lot of time to hang out. However, when we can get together and have a good time that is a “PERFECT” day.

Day 14 of 28: What Does A Typical Day In Your Life Look Like?

At the moment a typical day in my life is pretty boring and bland to some but chill and fun to me.

On the weeks I work at the bank I go to work come home work out and literally relax the rest of the day.

On the weeks I don’t work at the bank, I sleep until daylight, get up, Snapchat, sit around (snapchatting) for an hour, workout, and chill the rest of the day.

A typical day in my life is pretty chill and laid back all the time!

Day 11 of 28: What Things Have You Learned From Your Parents?

The things that I have learned from my parents are:

-Speak when you walk into someone’s house or into a room where they are because it shows respect and can spark conversations.

-Talk nicely because when you don’t it makes others uncomfortable and ultimately makes them not want to be bothered with you.

-Work out your problems because running is for cowards. Nothing is meant to be easy and you always fight for what you love and what you believe in.

These are just the few things that jumped out to me right now, but truth is I learn from them consistently and this post will continue on for days if I try to dissect everything they have ever taught me in this near 28 years.

Day 1 of 28: 28 Blogs By 28

Today I decided that I’m going to write 28 blog posts from the 1st to the 28th leading up until my birthday.

There are going to be a number of things that I decide to write about and I have 27 prompts I will share with every one of you.

I’m excited about turning 28 years old but a little nervous as well. I feel like the closer I get to 30, the more this whole adult thing becomes reality

I am excited to share different sides and truths about me as I embark on this journey to 28!!!

As I reflect and ponder on the things I have learned and accomplished up to this point, I will share an open dialog that will bring you a little more insight on who I was, who I have become, and where I plan on going from here.

Enjoy yourself while you’re here and enjoy the memories, goals, and plans that I share with you during this time.. Thanks so much for all of your support as you continue to come back day in and day out to see the content I have produced and chosen to share with you.

…Healthy Habits…

Have a time preference order, consistency, and completion.
In my bullet journal (Click Here For More Info), I decided it was important for me to create a habit tracker. I needed something that I was going to look at every day and enjoy filling in when I completed something.
Most would think it’s simple to remember everything that needs to be done on a daily basis. I agree there are some things that should be automatic like washing our face, brushing our teeth, and gargling with mouthwash every morning. However, if I can be “H.O.T” (Honest Open and Transparent), it was not a natural instinct for me until I made the tracker.
I have to clarify HEALTHY HABITS are what I am referring to. In my humble opinion, when I know that I am following a daily plan and I know that about three times a day I will have a moment to check those things off, I get excited. I get excited because I know it is bettering me, my overall growth, and because checking things off a “list” fills me with accomplishment and completeness.
Today I challenge you to keep a habit log or habit tracker and realize how amazing you feel knowing that majority of your daily habits and chores are completely done for the day. Be You Be Smart & Get Organized… Your Future Will Love You!!!
